Maze’s Musings – May

May seems to be the month for Bank Holidays, changeable weather and the promise of warmer weather to come. We decided to overhaul our garden, but despite taking time off work, the weather prevented us from making a lot of progress. On one occasion it rained so hard, and so suddenly that we got so wet, it was like we were swimming while fully dressed.

The weather did allow me some unplanned time to progress further with ‘A Dish Best Served Cold’. The rewrite is proceeding well, and I am pleased with the progress. I have previously overhauled the plot and extended the plotting out across the entire trilogy, which makes the book a pleasure to write.

Savanna Steel is an interesting character to me, one with sass and (too much?) determination. Without a moral compass to help steer her choices, the concept allows for some dark perspectives and moral choices. I have other plans for Savanna beyond the initial trilogy too. For more information on this Action-Thriller check my “Savanna Steel” page here [link]. I have new artwork for the book, as you can see from the image.

Thank you for checking in, more musings next month.
